Vocational Training

At Lifecare we believe strongly in the value of vocational training. We provide vocational training to all our staff where identified and employ apprentices ourselves.

As a result we emphasise the personal approach. We do not have to register hundreds of learners a month; therefore we can focus on personalising the learning for our group of learners. We go through a detailed personalised recruitment process to ensure that we can match the right learners to the right courses and employers (where necessary). At this stage we identify learning styles in detail and create specific learning plans to suit each individuals schedule and preferred method of learning.

Ultimately, our aim is not just to get each individual through their qualification. Our aim is to help learners to reach their highest level of achievement.

Choice and flexibility

You get to choose from a wide range of subjects. For our vocational courses there is also flexibility in our delivery. This means that, if preferred, e-learning can be used to substitute some classroom sessions allowing you to be in control of your learning.

We provide resources to support people to the highest level of achievement. We utilise a number of methods to engage learners in the way best suited to them. This includes:

  • Classroom sessions;
  • Extensive use of e-learning;
  • One-to-one support (including extensive support for those who wish to explore subjects beyond their course).

  • Graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (in our most recent Ofsted inspection for both our  Teaching and Learning);
  • Direct claim status for all of our awards (which means that the awarding bodies trust the quality of our work so much that we can claim your certificate as soon as we feel that you have completed the course. We don’t need to wait for the examination board to come and check our judgement).
